Don’t know? Just Ask!

The carpet, upholstery and end-of-tenancy cleaning services we offer may seem straightforward to us, because we carry them out every day. However, we do realise that our customers are often uncertain about what’s involved in our work and the cleaning processes we use.

That’s why we’ve put together this list of questions – and answers – that we are frequently asked when customers contact us to arrange a cleaning appointment.

We’re always happy to give advice and answer your queries, so if there’s something we haven’t covered here, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and ask us directly.

FAQs

Carpet Cleaning Bradford-on-Avon BA14

Do you clean carpets?

Yes, we clean carpets, usually using the Dry Fusion system which is a low moisture method, leaving carpets soft and deodorised.

What do you clean besides carpets?

We clean upholstery, rugs, hard floors, garden furniture and we can pressure wash patios. We also carry out end of tenancy cleans (carpeting and hard floors), moth and flea treatments, and rectify flood damage on soft furnishings, rugs and carpets. See our services

Do you offer End-of-Tenancy Cleaning?

Yes, we do but we only clean carpets and hard floors. We don’t do the domestic cleaning of cupboards, ovens, skirting boards etc.

Do you accept carpet cleaning bookings for weekends?

No. We work weekdays only, but we do try to be flexible with time slots, so please speak to us so we can arrange a clean when its most convenient.

What areas do you cover?

We cover BANES, Wiltshire, Somerset and South Gloucestershire, including Bath, Bradford-on-Avon, Bruton, Calne, Corsham, Chippenham, Devizes, Frome, Melksham, Peasedown St John, Warminster, Westbury, and TrowbridgeIf you live or work in the region in a town, village or rural area not mentioned and are not sure if we are available where you are, please get in touch. We’re flexible and will fit you in if possible.

Are you able to clean carpets in an upstairs flat?

Yes, we have various machines and methods for cleaning carpets in spaces above the ground and first floors. Please let us know when you book your clean if your carpet is to be cleaned on an upper floor – and whether there is a lift available.

How much do you charge for carpet cleaning?

There’s no set fee because there are a lot of variables to consider, such as the size of the room, the type of cleaning required, the level of soiling and so on. We will be able to give you an estimate after talking to you and gathering information, or perhaps pictures and a video. If necessary, we can come and visit the site to work out a quotation.

Do I have to be at home while the cleaning is done?

It’s preferable for the home owner or someone designated by him/her to be present, but once we’re inside and get busy you can leave and return when we are finished. If it’s an end of tenancy clean and the tenants have already moved out we can arrange to collect the keys from the letting agent for no extra cost. Just discuss any arrangements in this regard with us at the booking stage.

Can you carry out an end of tenancy clean after my tenancy ends?

Usually letting agents are amenable to this – getting other work done, such as redecoration, before the carpets are cleaned. You would need to arrange this with your letting agent or landlord well in advance, however.

What cleaning methods do you use?

For carpets we usually use the Dry Fusion system, which is quick-drying (low moisture) and leaves carpets soft, sparkling clean and deodorised with anti-static properties that repel further soiling for as long as possible. For upholstery cleaning we find hot water extraction (steam cleaning) is more efficient, but we can also use foam cleaning or dry cleaning if appropriate.

How do I know my carpeting or fabric won’t shrink?

We are highly experienced and knowledgeable after many years in the carpet cleaning business, and we will assess the fibre and fabric to be cleaned before we decide on which cleaning methods or cleaning products to use that won’t shrink, discolour or fade your carpets or soft furnishings.
